New Church Road

Hove Village Day Nursery – New Church Road is a full-day care nursery located at 126-128 New Church Road, Hove, BN3 4JD.

We provide a creative, child-centred environment where children from 3 months old can learn, explore and flourish.

The setting is open all year (excluding bank holidays/Christmas) and offers a variety of services from baby care through to preschool.

Age Range & Places

  • The nursery accepts children from 12 weeks old.

  • The total capacity is up to 147 children in the setting.

Facilities & Learning Environment

  • The New Church Road site has nearly 8,000 sq ft of well-designed classrooms and creative spaces (including dedicated dance/yoga studio).

  • There are two gardens on-site:

    • A private baby garden (with sand pit, tyres and planks obstacle course, “bug hotel”).

    • A larger back garden with climbing wall, teepee for stories & movement, water pump/feature.

  • Outdoor learning is emphasised: children visit the neighbouring park (Wish Park) regularly, and engage in local outdoor trips (beach, parks, library) to extend learning beyond the nursery walls.

  • The curriculum blends child-led and educator-led approaches, with creative classes (art, music, dance, yoga) included.

Meals & Nutrition

  • Meals (breakfast, snacks, lunch, tea) are prepared on-site and included in the fees.

  • Our food offering is celebrated for its diversity and quality (parents mention Thai curry, Moroccan couscous, etc.) in reviews. daynurseries.co.uk

  • We cater for all allergies, dietary restrictions, vegetarians and cultural diets.

Staff, Accreditation & Reviews

  • The nursery is registered with Ofsted under URN EY492059.

Why do we stand out?

  • Creative-rich environment: The emphasis on music, art, dance, and yoga means children are exposed to a broad range of stimulating experiences beyond core childcare.

  • Strong outdoor provision: With gardens, local park access and beach visits, children get regular fresh-air, movement and nature time.

  • Inclusive nutrition: Meals are included and varied, supporting healthy eating and dietary diversity.

  • Parent communication: Good feedback from families about updates, photos and involvement.

  • Central Hove location: Easy for commuting families or local residents in Hove.
